The Career and Financial Management course taught by business teacher, JoAnne Jones, is required of all Wheatland-Chili students. In the spring of 2008, the Wheatland-Chili Board of Education passed a resolution requiring that all high school students take the Career and Financial Management course.

About our District

The Wheatland-Chili Central School District is committed to educational excellence by empowering all individuals to be life-long learners and responsible, contributing members of society. The staff, parents, students and community support this commitment by holding high educational standards for all; developing academic excellence in each student; encouraging positive physical, social and emotional growth; and providing the appropriate resources to accomplish these goals in a safe, challenging, flexible and supportive environment.

Wheatland-Chili, the smallest of the county’s school districts, is located in Scottsville, a small historic village ten miles south of Rochester. Wheatland-Chili takes pride in the fact that its size and character makes possible a real sense of community.
