Even after students leave our classrooms, they can find friends and support at Learning Unlimited, a 10-week program for adults with disabilities, run through a grant from New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and managed on the westside by Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES. A recent adventure was offered by folks from the Genesee Country Village & Museum. Experts in historical costume presented a hands-on chocolate making experience with real cacao beans. During each spring and fall session, participants also enjoy evenings of music, arts and crafts, special guests and activities and field trips.
