Churchville Elementary School students got out into the woods at the adjoining Sprucewood Nature Center for a scavenger hunt this fall, searching for natural objects representing the five basic human senses. There’s no better way to learn first-grade science curriculum than getting outside on a beautiful day and working as a team.
