Hilton Central School District welcomed five graduates into the Alumni Hall of Fame on Oct. 6, 2022. They are: Lisa Snape Avery ‘81, founder and director of Avery Ballet; Dr. Maureen Short Biggers ’70, co-founder and executive director, Indiana University Center of Excellence For Women and Technology; Connie Cushing Lerea ’73 (in memoriam), professor Of Cell Biology and Anatomy, New York Medical College; Loraleigh Roller ’99, program analyst for the Office Of Law Enforcement Policy, United States Coast Guard Commander, USCGR; and Maureen L. (Graybill) Werner, Esq. ’83, attorney/counselor, Schum & Werner, PLLC.
The inductees were introduced at the High School Homecoming Pep Rally, were inducted in a ceremony in the High School Auditorium, enjoyed a reception with family and friends, rode on a float in the Homecoming Parade and were introduced at the varsity football game. A plaque for each inductee is displayed in the Hilton High School Auditorium.
Since 1999 the HCSD Alumni Hall of Fame has inducted 55 members and honored them and their accomplishments with the installation of wall of plaques in the Hilton High School auditorium.
