Brighton High School’s League of Legends Team won the 2020 New York State Spring Championship in May. They won the fall championship earlier this school year.
League of Legends is a 5-on-5 multiplayer online battle arena game where the goal is to destroy the other team’s base. League of Legends is played by 100 million people worldwide monthly and is a professional eSport. The BHS team includes: Paul Ampadu, Liam Kelstone, Lewis Winterberger, Susan Wu, and Theo Young. The subs are Jack Chin, Gregory Wilt, and Afzalur Rahman. The team is advised by Laura Byrne.
