Since 2016, more than 3,000 high school students from the Greater Rochester region have joined together for “Student Summits on Race” to engage in facilitated dialogue with peers and address topics such as structural racism, privilege, implicit bias, racial equity, and social justice.
On March 29, 500+ students will gather for the 8th Student Summit, hosted by Spencerport High School. The topic for this summit is Interpersonal vs. Structural & Institutional Racism.
