Supporting documents may be sent to emurray@causewave.org. Districts may submit multiple nominations for this award. The deadline for all entries is Tuesday, April 6. Award finalists and winners will be selected by a community-based committee.

All nominees will be recognized during National Small Business (May 3-7, 2021)

Finalists will be announced and contacted on May 7. The winner of the 2021 “Community Champion for Public Education Award” will be announced in conjunction with Junior Achievement’s Titan of Business Challenge Awards in May.

Our Mission

A Community Together (ACT) for Education is an unprecedented initiative by public schools in the Monroe 1 and Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES districts, RCSD, area businesses, and community members. With a unified voice, ACT for Education delivers positive messaging about our local school districts and encourages community support of public education.
