The Elementary School hosted their first Day of Caring event on June 7. Students in Pre-K through grade 6 spent approximately an hour working in various areas around the Village of Holley. They did everything from weeding gardens to painting a soccer wall. They could be seen working on and around school grounds, the Woodlands, Fireman’s Field, Holley Depot, Holley Falls, and the canal path, as well as in the Community Free Library, Public Square, and the Community Center. The ES Student Council devised the idea for this day, facilitated the event, and distributed red t-shirts to every student and faculty or staff member who participated. Well done, students!
