Staff at Hilton Central School District have once again ranked their employer as a Top Workplace in Rochester. This is the sixth consecutive year that Hilton CSD has received the designation. The awards were announced at a congratulatory reception held on Mar. 27, 2019 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
The Democrat and Chronicle partnered with Philadelphia-based Energage, an employee research and consulting firm, to determine Rochester’s Top Workplaces based solely on employee survey feedback.
Companies and organizations are nominated in September, then invited to take the employee survey at no cost. The survey gathers responses on 24 factors covering seven areas – Alignment (values), Effectiveness, Connection (employee appreciation, meaningful work), Managers, Employee Engagement, Leadership and Basics (benefits, training, expectations). Sixty-five employers scored well enough to earn recognition as a Top Workplace.
“Our deepest gratitude to all our employees who play such an important role in the education of our students,” said Superintendent Dr. Casey Kosiorek. “The district is elated to know that they believe we are a Top Workplace. Thank you to the entire Hilton Learning Community for their continued commitment to our mission and vision.”
